However, I do sympathize with that girl who just wants to have that tan complexion. BUT at the same time I am giving up my days of not putting sun tan lotion on at the beach and pool in order to get that bronze summer glow that I have to work so hard for.
SO my new motto is "I LOVE SUNBLOCK."
This is for a few reasons. 1. I don't want skin cancer. 2. I want to have as much to look forward to when I'm old and I'll take whatever I can get. That includes decent skin. and 3. Burns are not attractive...and oh, they hurt. A lot.
Also, I know, I know, I'm getting too picky now but no I DO NOT WANT TO LOOK LIKE SNOOKI because really, SNL wasn't too far off...
SO, AM I ASKING FOR TOO MUCH!? Probably. But recently a product told me I actually am not. They say I can have my tan and keep my life too. A few weeks ago I searched the Internet for the best rated sunless tanner and came across Banana Boat® Summer Color™.
I bought it off of Amazon because I didn't have access to a nearby Walmart or Target and it ended up being about $12 because of stupid Shipping and Handling (that's another tangent I'll go off on another time). But for some reason I just couldn't wait. If you buy it in the store it is only $7! It works amazingly!! I was really nervous because I'd never used self tanner before but after only a couple applications I looked like I had a real tan and everyone asked me if I had been out in the sun. So I'm not telling you to give up the tanning bed and go out and buy it right now...but, well actually I am. If you are in the same boat as me you might as well be in Banana Boat. SM
